Deposit

Deposits mint receipt units at the current index and add the quantity actually received to the account's principal. A token transfer fee, if any, can make the received amount smaller than the submitted amount.

Rebase

The owner may enter a positive profit value while the contract is live. That action raises the global index and displayed $STOCKS balances. The contract has no fixed interval, automatic schedule, APY, rate cap or check that an equal quantity of $STOCK has been added.

Full exit

exit() closes the caller's entire position. It burns every receipt unit and returns only the recorded $STOCK principal. There is no partial exit and no $STOCKS approval step.

Permanent freeze

The owner may freeze StonksShares once. After freeze, deposits, rebases and exits all stop permanently. Receipt balances remain for the treasury snapshot and target-asset redemption flow.
